Well, here are the last batch of photos that i took on the 2nd day of hari raya. The group shot was taken by a nice passer-by. I was seriously bummed that this year, the celebration was on a week day and that the next day, i had a morning class and i had to do alone. I was having a casual conversation with my mum a month after the celebration and one main point that i brought up was the excitement factor for this year. This year, i felt the celebration more of a commitment than a real celebration like the past years. I feel that as i grow older and that i have more responsibilities, the atmosphere during hari raya feels different, for example i would feel anxious in anticipating when the whole visiting on the 1st day is going to end because i have work the next day and i need my sleep.
Do you guys feel like that during your own religious celebrations?
p.s i need new shoes asap!! I've worn those oxfords above too many times, you don't even wanna know how many times i apply glue to make the soles stick together..
